LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Fans of Louisville Cardinals football hoping to catch their first glimpse of the 2024 team will have the chance to do just that over the next handful of weeks.
University of Louisville (UofL) football coach Jeff Brohm announced Tuesday the program will open six spring practices to the public, including the first practice Tuesday, March 19 at 4 p.m. Its location has not yet been determined.
Other practices open to fans, according to Louisville Athletics, include Saturday, March 23 (9:45 a.m.), Friday, March 29 (4 p.m.), Thursday, April 4 (4 p.m.) and Friday, April 12 (4 p.m.). They will be held in L&N Stadium or the practice fields at the Howard Schnellenberger Football Complex. Times are subject to change, Louisville Athletics added.
The practices will lead up to the team’s annual Spring Game, on Friday, April 19 at L&N Stadium, with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
UofL said fans cannot take photos or videos from the stands or sidelines during practice and must stay in the stands or behind the ropes.
Brohm guided the Cardinals to a 10-4 record in his first season as coach, including their first appearance in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) title game, a 16-6 loss Dec. 2 to Florida State. Louisville begins its 2024 campaign Aug. 31 at home against Austin Peay.
