The Cardinals are returning 13 starters from 2023, which saw them go 10-4 and appear in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) title game for the first time in program history. Louisville also made its first appearance in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego, a 42-28 loss to USC.

Seeking its fourth-straight postseason appearance, the team begins its 2024 campaign Aug. 31 against Austin Peay at home.
