LEXINGTON, Ky. — Lexington is ready to party since it is hosting the men’s and women’s NCAA Tournaments.

The University of Kentucky women’s basketball team begins their quest for a national championship at home and the UK Alumni Association is planning a pregame party. Friday, March 21 at 10:30 a.m. fans are invited to Wildcat Alumni Plaza, which is directly across from historic Memorial Coliseum on the Avenue of Champions. The event is free and as with any alumni party, free UK swag will be given out while supplies last.

The Wildcats are the No. 4 seed in the Spokane Region and they will face No. 13 seed Liberty at noon ET at Memorial Coliseum Friday.

Tickets for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament in Lexington can be bought through UK Athletics online or by calling the UK Ticket Office at 800-928-2287.

If Kentucky advances to the second round, there will be another pregame party at Wildcat Alumni Plaza. Details about the event will be posed on the UK Alumni Association’s website.
