LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Frazier History Museum in downtown Louisville announced plans for its fourth annual Summer Beer Fest as it celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Set for Saturday, July 27, the block party will take place outside the museum on Main Street between Eighth and Ninth streets from 5 p.m. through 8 p.m. It will feature more than 200 specialty beers, food and retail vendors, live music by brass bands and a fun zone with games and activities. 

Tickets are on sale now. VIP admission is $90, while general admission tickets are $50 and designated driver tickets are $10. 

The museum said it encourages guests interested in VIP tickets to purchase them early as they sell out quickly. They include an extra hour of admission, beginning at 4 p.m. Other perks include access to three floors of museum exhibitions, indoor bathrooms, exclusive VIP beers and the Frazier's Gateway Garden, which extends from Main to Washington streets on the building's east side. 

“This will be our third year shutting down Main Street for 1,200 beer lovers to celebrate right alongside our amazing Kentucky brewers from nine different Kentucky counties," president and CEO Andy Treinen said.

This year's event features more than 200 specialty beers from more than 80 local, regional and out-of-state breweries, the museum said. Food vendors include Bearno's, Bert's SpeakCheezy, Lou Diggity's No Doubt, the Misfit Lou and Sunergos Coffee. RK Bluegrass will also sell food in the VIP area.

Guests can enjoy the sounds of the Hot Sauce Brass Band and the Brass Band of Louisville, who will take turns roaming the street. The Brass Band of Louisville will perform favorites such as "The Chicken Dance," the museum said, along with a rendition of the 1982 Hazel Miller hit "Look What We Can Do, Louisville."
