LOUISVILLE, Ky. — While Bourbon & Beyond and Louder Than Life are some of the Commonwealth's signature music festivals, a new one-day event coming to Louisville will highlight hip-hop and R&B.

  • A new hip-hop and R&B festival is coming to Louisville

  • The Sky Soul Festival will take place Aug. 10 at the city's Waterfront Park

  • Headliners include Anthony Hamilton & the Ton3s, KeKe Wyatt, Dru Hill featuring Sisqo and Doug E. Fresh

  • An additional artist will be added at a later date, according to organizers 

The Sky Soul Festival is coming to Waterfront Park Aug. 10, beginning at 3 p.m. According to organizers, the following names will take the stage:

  • Anthony Hamilton & the Ton3s
  • KeKe Wyatt
  • Dru Hill featuring Sisqo (two members are from Louisville)
  • Doug E. Fresh

The festival said an additional artist will be added at a later date. A portion of the proceeds will support Sky Foundation, which awards scholarships to children focused on music and the performing arts. 

Tickets are on sale now and are $50 for general admission; VIP packages are available starting at $150. The festival is also accepting applications for vendors.
