LOUISVILLE, Ky. — As it celebrates its 20th anniversary, the Frazier History Museum is bringing back a summer tradition.

The fourth annual Summer Beer Fest will take place Saturday, July 27 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Main and Ninth streets in front of the museum. The festival will feature more than 200 specialty beers, food, live music, games and activities, the museum said. 

Early bird tickets, which are $75 for VIP and $40 for general admission (GA), are available through April 1. Prices will increase to $90 (VIP) and $50 (GA) afterward, the museum said. Guests also have the option to purchase designated driver tickets for $10.

Perks of VIP tickets include 4 p.m. entry and access to museum exhibitions, indoor bathrooms, the museum's Gateway Garden and exclusive additional beers, according to the museum. 

“We’ve served this community for 20 years, so we’re proud to have created a new tradition on Main Street," said museum president and CEO Andy Treinen. "And with our new exhibit '120: Cool Ky Counties' now open, we look forward to serving beers from all around the Commonwealth."

The museum said breweries from Fayette, Jefferson, Madison, Meade, Shelby and Woodford, among other counties, will be featured. Along with a selection of standard craft and specialty beers, attendees will also have access to a variety of gluten-free/gluten-reduced beers, low-calorie IPAs, hard ciders and spiked seltzers.
