LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The state’s largest school district readies for the beginning of the 2024-25 school year. Jefferson County Public Schools will once again be in session for teachers and about 97,000 students.
The first day of school is Thursday, Aug. 8 and the last day of school is currently slated for Thursday, May 22, pending any make up days.
Here are the important dates to know for the 2024-25 school year:
