LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Publix is introducing itself to Kentucky through a website entirely dedicated to its new Louisville location in the Terra Crossing Shopping Center.
The company said the Hello, Kentucky site is a “one stop shop for Kentuckians to get to know who we are as a company, what we will be doing in the community, and, of course, prepare for the ultimate Publix Super Market experience.”
A video introduction detailed the grocery chain’s popular deli sub lunches, fresh meat and seafood selection and employee-owned business model.
According to the new site, the store will offer the “highest-quality products possible — from our meat, seafood and produce to our private label items.”
Publix encouraged people to sign up for updates through the website, which include details on how to join its loyalty program — Club Publix — as well as employment opportunities, product offerings and grand opening specials.
The Louisville location will be in the Terra Crossing Shopping Center at 2500 Terra Crossing Boulevard, just off the Gene Snyder Freeway. The 55,701-square-foot store will include a drive-thru pharmacy and a 3,200-square-foot liquor store. It will be the first Publix Liquors located outside of Florida. The store is slated to open by late 2023.
Publix already announced a second Louisville location would be built at Ballardsville and Brownsboro Roads. That store is set to open early in 2024.
