LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville is ready to get loud! The Louder Than Life announced the lineup for their 10th year of rocking in the River City.

This year’s festival, dubbed the largest rock festival in North America, includes headliners Slayer, Motley Crue, Slipknot and Korn. Other acts rocking across the festival’s five stages include Disturbed, Judas Priest, Five Finger Death Punch, Evanescence, Falling in Reverse, Breaking Benjamin, The Offspring, Staind, Till Lindemann, and more. In total, over 140 music acts will be part of the festival weekend.

“We’re thrilled to announce that Slayer will be reuniting for an earth-shattering performance at Louder Than Life,” says Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents, who produces the festival. ”I was at their last show at The Forum in 2019 and have been working since then to bring them back to the Louder stage!

Louder Than Life will return to its home at the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center on Sept. 26-28, 2024.

“On the heels of an incredible lineup announcement for Bourbon & Beyond, Louder Than Life solidifies why the Kentucky Exposition Center is the number one place to travel to in September,” said David S. Beck, President and CEO of Kentucky Venues. “We anticipate festival-goers from around the world to come for the music and fall in love with all the things that make Kentucky such a great state.”

Festival organizers say single-day, weekend General Admission passes and Park Community VIP passes are on sale now starting as low as $10 down. Angel’s Envy Top Shelf VIP passes are sold out.

They also invited Louisvillians to celebrate the lineup unveiling with three events this weekend, Feb. 23-25. On Friday, fans can donate five nonperishable items to the Dare to Care food drive at Kroger in Breckenridge from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. to unlock “service fee free” passes. The Taj in NuLu will celebrate on Saturday with custom craft cocktails, photo ops, service fee free passes and a DJ from 6 p.m. to midnight. On Sunday, there will be Louder Than Life pass giveaways at the Bellarmine wrestling match at Knights Hall at 1:00 p.m.
