KDF unveiled the first shipment of the 2023 pins at the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience in Louisville, the first location to sell this year’s Festival pins.

Along with the pins, fans can pick up a special edition bottle of Evan Williams Single Barrel Bourbon. These bottles are sealed in a metallic teal wax. The bottles commemorate the 51st edition of the pins and the 68th Kentucky Derby Festival. There is a gold pin sealed in wax on every bottle.

The Pegasus Pin debuted in 1973 and is now one of the four primary sources of funding for the Kentucky Derby Festival. It is a way for the community to support Festival events and show pride in the area’s largest celebration.
