GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Packers have downgraded quarterback Jordan Love to doubtful for Sunday’s home opener against the Indianapolis Colts.
Love did not practice this week because of a knee injury he suffered during the Packers’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil. He was listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report.
Malik Willis is expected to start at quarterback for the Packers against the Colts.
Quarterback Sean Clifford has been elevated from the practice squad to the active roster.
He would serve as Willis’ backup for the Packers if Love is ruled out.
