GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Packers offense is more than just quarterback Jordan Love, no matter how terrific he has been.

The Green Bay running game and offensive line will have to perform well to pull off another playoff upset.

It’s a pretty consistent theme in the Packers locker room. This team is loose and confident going into Saturday night’s playoff game in California against the 49ers.

“Man, it feels great,” said Packers center Josh Myers. “We definitely feel like we've got lightning in a bottle a little bit right now, so timing's definitely right.”

The solid play of the Packers offensive line has been one reason for the surge.

“They've done a great job,” said Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur. “I think we've seen growth from them every week. Certainly, they've gone against some pretty formidable fronts throughout the course of the season. And we got another one right in front of us. So we're going to have to continue to show that growth and improvement. And we've got a great challenge that lies ahead.”

“They've been doing a fantastic job,” said Packers quarterback Jordan Love. “Stepping up to the challenges, going against obviously some pretty good D-lines. So they stepped up, kept me clean and been doing a great job of that. And, our run game is executing at a high level right now. So we we got all the confidence in the world in those guys.”

The work of the offensive line on both pass protection and paving the way for the running game has ignited the Packers offense.

"I feel like everything's coming together, just collectively,” said Myers. “We’re not making those small mistakes anymore. I feel like a lot of times early on, I feel like people missed it. There'd be like one guy missed a block here or there and the run would have popped, but instead it was a three yard gain, you know?”

“We knew everything was going to eventually play itself out,” said Packers guard Jon Runyan. “Everybody here can see it, especially offensive line. After blocking for three seconds, we just watch all these guys run around. That’s where we get our joy. We can tell, as an offensive line, that we just got a lot of players in here and it's going to work. It's going to hit sometimes and it really started working out and the locker room’s really happy.”

The offensive line knows that if they keep performing at a high level, the Packers are a dangerous team that nobody wants to face.
