CINCINNATI — Roebling Bridge reopened Monday after being closed down for the third time in a week due to a threat, according to the Covington Police Department.
Covington Police said it closed the bridge at around 3:38 p.m. after an individual reported a "suspicious bag in the roadway of the bridge."
Crews then checked the bag, which contained bedding and nothing hazardous, police said.
The bridge was closed on Sunday and Wednesday last week due to a bomb threat. The FBI office in Louisville is handling the investigation.
