WORCESTER, Mass. - The Worcester Red Sox home opener is upon us, it's a time of excitement for fans, coaches, managers and the players, Worcester has two of the top prospects in all of minor league baseball in their lineup in Roman Anthony and Marcelo Mayer, and while both would love to be up in Boston, and no doubt both will be soon, they are excited about opening day in Worcester.  "I feel great, just got in last night we were in Mexico it was a lot of fun," said Anthony, "sucked leaving those guys, glad to be here, ready to get after it and get up there as fast as I can."

"Yeah, I'm super excited this is probably one of the best days of the year for any athlete, day one right,"  said Mayer, "so as a club and individually I think everyone's really excited."
