LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The No. 4 University of Louisville volleyball team secured their fourth straight sweep, downing ACC foe No. 19 Georgia Tech 25-20, 25-16, 27-25 Sunday afternoon at L&N Federal Credit Union Arena. UofL moves to 12-2 on the season and 4-0 in ACC play.

The Cards hit at a .280 clip on the match to go along with 44 kills, 42 assists and four aces. The Cards were led by Charitie Luper and Anna DeBeer for the second consecutive match with 15 and 12 kills, respectively. Hannah Sherman was a force defensively, added eight of Louisville’s 13 total blocks. Nayelis Cabello recorded 22 assists while libero Elena Scot pitched in 14 digs in the match. 

Georgia Tech came out cold with .064 hitting, three aces and five blocks. Bianaca Bertolina and Larissa Mendes led the Yellow Jackets, who both had seven kills with Mendes tallying a team high three blocks.

UofL makes its first ACC road trip of the season to face Florida State and Miami next. The Cardinals play the Seminoles Friday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. ET.
