Gov. Andy Beshear, D-Ky., has called the Kentucky natives-turned-stars ambassadors for the commonwealth. Harlow performed in multiple Kentucky cities in fall 2023 with his third-annual "No Place Like Home" tour. He also launched the GAZEBO Music Festival in Louisville this past Memorial Day weekend, which saw Grammy award-winner SZA headline May 25 before severe weather canceled the festival's second night, May 26, which Harlow was supposed to headline.

Childers performed at Beshear's second inauguration Dec. 12 and is headlining the final night of Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville Sunday, Sept. 22.

Taylor Swift tops the VMA nominations with 10, eight of which are for her "Fortnight" music video, along with nods in the Artist of the Year and Best Pop categories. Fan voting is open online now through Aug. 30.
