LEXINGTON, Ky. — Rupp Arena is the No. 33 ranked arena in the U.S. and No. 57 worldwide, based on tickets sold to non-sporting events for 2023, according to Pollstar Magazine. Rupp finished ahead of arenas in major markets including San Francisco, Cincinnati, Louisville, Denver and more, moving up 14 spots nationally in just one year.
According to arena management officials with OVG360, Rupp Arena had a record-breaking year in 2023, hosting the most ticketed events in arena history. That surpasses the previous record set in 1980. Management added Rupp had sellout shows for the following acts: Journey, Kane Brown, Lizzo, Kenny Chesney, Lil Wayne, Guns N’ Roses, Brooks & Dunn, Parker McCollum, Jonas Brothers, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Jelly Roll, Eagles, Jack Harlow and two back-to-back nights of Tyler Childers.
