LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville’s football game against Notre Dame is going to the birds. Peacock, to be exact.

UofL announced the Sept. 28 game against the Irish at Notre Dame Stadium will air at 3:30 p.m. on the Peacock Network. Notre Dame has had a longstanding broadcast contract with NBC, which owns Peacock.

This will be the fifth time the schools have met, with each having won two games. The No. 25 Cards beat the Irish in front of a sell-out crown on Oct. 8, 2023 at L&N Stadium. It was the first win against a ranked opponent. The Irish were ranked No. 10 and lost 33-20, giving the Cards their first 6-0 start since 2013.

At Notre Dame, Louisville is 1-1 winning 31-28 in 2014 and losing in 2020 12-7.
