LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville will throw it back to the '80s this summer.
Originally set for Aug. 3, the Stadium Rock 80s music festival will now take place over a two-day stretch: Aug. 3 and Aug. 4, 2024. Organizers said the new event celebrates 1980s music and pop culture and will feature several themed activities in addition to live music.
Gates open at 11 a.m. both days before the music starts at noon. Below is the announced lineup and approximate stage times:
Saturday, Aug. 3
- 12 p.m. – Nova Rex
- 1:30 p.m. – Pretty Boy Floyd
- 3 p.m. – Enuff Z'Nuff
- 4:30 p.m. – Vixen
- 6 p.m. – Aldo Nova
- 8 p.m. – Slaughter
- 10 p.m. – Great White
Sunday, Aug. 4
- 1 p.m. – John Corabi
- 3 p.m. – Trixter
- 4:30 p.m. – LA Guns
- 6 p.m. – Ron Keel Band
- 8 p.m. – Queensrÿche
Besides live music, Lynn Family Stadium's BlueOval SK Fan Zone will transform into an '80s-themed pop culture experience featuring a vendor village, photo opportunities, movie props, cars, giant Rubix's Cubes, trivia, a DeLorean time machine, video games, a "Ghostbusters" display and a DJ.
For tickets and parking, visit the festival's website. Packages include the Mega VIP Experience with premier lawn seating, private VIP bathrooms and VIP bar and food service. Premium Lawn Party Zone access includes early entrance and additional food and bar service.
