LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville's men's basketball schedule for the 2020-21 season is officially complete.

The University of Louisville announced its 20-game Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) men's basketball schedule Tuesday, completing a 27-game 2020-21 schedule for Louisville.
The Cardinals will face off against six ACC opponents twice this season, including Duke, Virginia, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Boston College, and Pittsburgh. Seven mid-week games have yet to be decided between a Tuesday or Wednesday, and game times and television designations will come later.
Season ticket holders will receive an email about their seat selection time in the coming days.
“Although it’s been a long time coming, we sure look forward to a competitive schedule as usual,” said UofL Head Men’s Basketball Coach Chris Mack. “I give a lot of credit to (assistant coach) Dino Gaudio, who worked the phones like an operator putting together our-nonconference schedule. The ACC schedule is always a challenge no matter how they put the games together. We’re looking forward to November 25th!”
Louisville's first ACC game of the season will be against NC State in the KFC Yum! Center Dec. 16. Four of the following six ACC games will be on the road, beginning with playing at Pittsburgh Dec. 22, the Cardinals' last conference game before the new year.
The Cardinals will also hit the road to face off against the following schools:
- Boston College on Jan. 2;
- Wake Forest on Jan. 12 or 13;
- Miami on Jan. 16;
- Syracuse on Feb. 2 or 3;
- Virginia on Feb. 6;
- Virginia Tech on Feb. 13;
- North Carolina on Feb. 20;
- Duke on Feb. 27; and
- Clemson on March 2 or 3.
Louisville's home conference games include:
- Virginia Tech on Jan. 5 or 6;
- Georgia Tech on Jan. 9;
- Florida State on Jan. 18;
- Duke on Jan. 23;
- Boston College on Jan. 30;
- Pittsburgh on Feb. 9 or 10;
- Syracuse on Feb. 16 or 17;
- Notre Dame on Feb. 23 or 34; and
- Virginia on March 6.
In January, five of seven games will be held at the KFC Yum! Center, followed by four of Louisville's first six games in February on the road. Five ACC teams are in the Associated Press' preseason Top 25 or among those receiving votes. Virginia is listed at No. 4, Duke at No. 9, North Carolina at No. 16, and Florida State at No. 21. Louisville is ranked sixth among those receiving votes.
Some of Louisville's non-conference opponents include Kentucky, Seton Hall, Wisconsin, Prairie View A&M, UNC Greensboro, and Western Kentucky. The Cardinal's final non-conference opponent is the Wildcats Dec. 26 at the KFC Yum! Center.
The Cardinals open the season Nov. 25 against Southern Illinois at the KFC Yum! Center. Louisville then plays the next four games at home Nov. 27 against Seton Hall, Nov. 29 against Prairie View A&M, Dec. 1 against Western Kentucky, and Dec. 4 against UNC Greensboro.
Louisville will also play its first road game of the season Dec. 9 at Wisconsin in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
