LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Nine days of music returns to the Louisville waterfront in April with the Kentucky Derby Festival's Waterfront Jam. The concert series at Kroger's Fest-a-Ville features dozens of local and regional bands and five national concerts on two different stages. Admission to the shows are free with a 2020 Pegasus Pin. Fans can also buy special VIP seating for certain shows for $25. VIP tickets go on sale Friday, March 6 on the KDF website.
Here is a breakdown of the acts coming.
- Michael Ray: Friday, April 24 at 9 pm - A country music singer-songwriter from Florida, known for his number one songs "Kiss You in the Morning" and "Think a Little Less."
- Foghat: Saturday, April 25 at 9 pm - This band has been around since the 70s and are still going strong. Known for rock classics such as "Slow Ride" and "I Just Want to Make Love to You."
- 7eventh Time Down: Sunday, April 26 at 5 pm - A Christian rock band out of Mount Vernon, Kentucky. The released their debut album in 2011. Love & The Outcome, Rhett Walker, and Stillman will open the show.
- The Crashers: Monday, April 27 at 7 pm - Louisville's own The Crashers have toured the world with such acts as Blake Shelton, Kid Rock, Aerosmith, and Luke Bryan.
- Digital Underground with Rob Base: Tuesday, April 28 at 8 pm -Known for the "Humpty Dance," this hip hop group has been having fun since the 90s. Joining them is Rob Base who has been performing for more than 30 years and has had several hits including "it Takes Two" and "Get on the Dance Floor"
- Tony and the Tan Lines: Wednesday, April 29 at 8 pm - Another Louisville favorite. The band performs the smooth soul of the 70s and the Miami sound of the early 80s, a guaranteed party.
- White Reaper with Boa: Thursday, April 30 at 8 pm - An American garage punk band from Louisville that just released its third album. This summer they will be touring with Pearl Jam.
- Derby Eve Concert
The Waterfront Jam also features the Miller Lite Music Stage. Here local and regional bands will perform daily. The acts here include:
