LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Beerfest is coming back to the Kentucky State Fair for its 120th celebration this year.

  • Beerfest returns to the Kentucky State Fair on Aug. 23 from 3:30-6:30 p.m.

  • The second annual celebration of craft beer will feature 10 Kentucky craft breweries and 20 beers

  • Advanced tickets are $40 until Aug. 22 and available on-site only for $50 after that

  • Admission includes 10 four-ounce pours of craft beer

This will be the second annual Beerfest. This year’s event will return on the second Friday of the fair, Aug. 23 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. The event started in 2023 and had a sell-out crowd.

Beerfest will be in the L Lot, at the Hitching Post tent, just outside the Texas Roadhouse Concert Series area. This year’s event features 10 Kentucky craft breweries and 20 beers. The list of breweries will be announced at a later date. There will also be live music, lawn games, photo-op areas and food trucks.

The craft beer celebration is an optional add-on experience to the fair and requires an additional ticket for admission. Tickets went on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for $40. Limited tickets are on sale through Aug. 22 at 11:59 p.m. at 11:59 p.m. After that, tickets will be available on-site only for $50. Admission includes 10 four-ounce pours of craft beer.
