LEXINGTON

  • Most 90 degree days: 85 in 1936
  • Fewest 90 degree days: 0 in 1974. Warmest temp was 88
  • 2004 warmest temp was 89
  • As of July 26 this year, Lexington has had 15 90 degree days
  • Average 90 degree days per year: 22

BOWLING GREEN

  • Most 90 degree days: 107 in 1921
  • Fewest 90 degree days: 8 in 1950 and 1982
  • As of July 26 this year, Bowling Green has had 28 90 degree days
  • Average 90 degree days per year: 42

FRANKFORT

  • Most 90 degree days: 89 in 1936
  • Fewest 90 degree days: 2 in 2004
  • As of July 21 this year, Frankfort has had 22 90 degree days
  • Average 90 degree days per year: 23

As you can see, it has been quite warm this year so far, but we are a far cry from the most 90 degree days on record.
