LOUISVILLE, Ky. - During one of the hottest stretches of the summer Chef Dianna Pickup isn't hiding from the heat.

The Georgia transplant is embracing the dog days of summer by standing over a hot grill. Our Jonathon Gregg came across Pickup's "Di's Dawgs and Delights," selling all-beef dogs outside the St. Matthews Best Buy. Pickup is a few months into her food-cart venture. 

She spent the last year focussing on moving to Louisville and getting her new home in order. 

By the time the hot Louisville summer rolled around Pickup was ready to get back out there. With the moral support of her husband, who also works in the culinary industry, Pickup bought a stainless steel cart and started selling hot dogs and specialty snacks four days a week.

On Wednesday and Thursday posts up in Prairie Village near the intersection of Third Street Road and Pages Lane and on the weekends she's outside the Best Buy around the corner from Total Wine.
