After two games on the road to start the 2023 NFL season, the Packers are back at Lambeau Field on Sunday, Sept. 24, and Mother Nature looks to deliver decent weather for the home opener.

What You Need To Know

  • Mostly cloudy conditions are likely on Sunday

  • There is a slight chance for a passing shower

  • Temperatures will be near 70 degrees

The weather pattern across Wisconsin will turn a bit more active for the upcoming weekend, including Sunday when the Packers take on the New Orleans Saints for their home opener.

For kickoff at 12:00 p.m., expect temperatures in the upper 60s with a mostly cloudy sky. Throughout the game, temperatures will gradually climb to around 70 degrees.

The wind may be a factor during the game with a steady easterly wind around 12 to 18 mph and some gusts of 20 to 25 mph possible.

An isolated shower or two will also be possible during the game, so you may want to pack your poncho if you’re planning on being one of the over 80,000 fans in attendance at Lambeau Field on Sunday.

Although we may see a stray shower or two, Sunday does not appear to be a washout, so there should be plenty of dry time throughout the day for tailgating, the game, and the drive home.

Overall, it’s not looking like a bad September day for football in Green Bay! Go Pack Go!
