After a gorgeous stretch of weather across Wisconsin over the last few days, cooler and wetter weather will move in on Sunday. High temperatures will be in the 70s for most of the state, while areas close to Lake Michigan will only warm into the 60s.
Moisture streaming in from the south as well as a weak cold front moving in from the west will generate a fair amount of cloud cover and some showers and thunderstorms. We do not expect rain all day, but you may need the umbrella from time to time.
A lingering shower is possible early Monday morning before sunshine returns Monday afternoon. That sunshine sticks around on Tuesday along with warmer temperatures before more rain arrives on Wednesday. Temperatures will drop into the 60s on Wednesday with showers and a few storms possible. Thursday will still be cool with a chance of a few showers before drier air returns by Friday.
