After a brief period of sunshine Wednesday, clouds filtered back into the area overnight and will linger into early Thursday morning. By Thursday afternoon, sunshine will mix in with those clouds but temperatures will be cold with highs only in the upper 20s.
The coldest air of the seaosn arrives Friday. Temperatures Friday morning around Milwaukee will be in the low teens but many other areas in Wisconsin will wake up to overnight lows in the single digits or even close to 0°!
Friday will be the coldest day of the next several with sunshine sticking around and temperatures gradually warming up to near-normal by the middle of next week.
