PLYMOUTH, Wis. — Plymouth Wisconsin’s annual Big Cheese Drop kicks off tonight at 7:30 p.m.

What You Need To Know

  • Event attendees will start their New Year off with one very large Sartori Cheese. A giant wedge of Sartori’s BellaVitano® Gold Cheese is lowered down from a firetruck ladder at the end of the event, mimicking the New Year's Eve ball drop in New York City

Festivities include a Sartori cheese tasting table, hot cocoa and live music from the String Along band.

The New Year’s Eve event expects thousands of people to come together in the nation’s Cheese Capitol.

The first 250 families in the door will also receive a complimentary Sartori Cheese gift bag.

The event takes place at the Plymouth Arts Center from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31. The grand finale begins at 10 p.m., with the cheese drop.
