GREEN BAY, Wis. — Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB) announced new nonstop flights on Friday, just in time for planning your vacation in the new year.
Frontier Airlines and Sun Country Airlines are two of GRB’s low-fare carriers adding nonstop flights in 2025.
Starting Jan. 30, 2025, Sun Country Airlines will begin nonstop service to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers. Nonstop flights will be available Sundays and Tuesdays.
For Monday and Friday flights, Frontier Airlines have nonstop flights to Denver International Airport (DEN).
“With a New Year right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to reset after a busy holiday season,” said Marty Piette, GRB Airport Director. “With these affordable flights, families have the opportunity to fly directly to their perfect vacation spot and ease the stress of traveling.”
The nonstop flights also come at a time where the GRB and the City of Green Bay are planning for the 2025 NFL draft. The 2025 NFL draft at Lambeau Field will be held on April 24-26. Delta Airlines announced additional nonstop flights to Green Bay April 23 through 27. Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA) are two of the added nonstop locations into Green Bay.
If you are looking to enjoy the draft outside of Green Bay, additional services to Orlando International Airport (MCO), Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) and Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) are available.
United Airlines has also added extra service to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD).
“It’s great to see airlines like Delta and United make these types of accommodations as the demand continues to grow,” said Piette, “We expect to see a major uptick in traffic for the draft and we’re excited about the opportunity to help football fans across the U.S. travel to Green Bay.”
