GREEN BAY, Wis. — At the Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB), a special festive display is adding a little extra cheer for those traveling this holiday season. 

For the second straight year, visitors can see a variety of designs on the gingerbread houses. The decorations on display represent the array of departments and airlines at GRB. (Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport)

At the GRB main entrance, lies 17 gingerbread houses, each of which stands at about 3-feet tall. There is even a gingerbread Lambeau Field.

Each group of team members at the airport is represented by a gingerbread house, showcasing the role they play in making sure travelers can travel safely for the holiday season.

“We know this time of year is busy for everyone, especially when it comes to traveling,” said Mary Piette, the airport director. “Decorating the gingerbread houses at the airport is a simple way we can bring a festive and uplifting atmosphere to everyone who passes through.”
