BROOKFIELD, Wis. —  Landmark Credit Union is looking to hire staff at locations across the Milwaukee area, as well as Madison.

The company is looking to fill around 20 teller positions at many of its branches around the area. It’s also looking to hire other administrative and leadership roles based at Landmark Credit Union’s headquarters in Brookfield, Wis.

Becoming a teller is a way to get a foot in the door of the banking industry. Jodi Greenmeier oversees hiring for Landmark Credit Union. Greenmeier said candidates don’t need specific financial experience, but a positive attitude is a must.

“A great candidate is going to be an ambitious learner. Motivated to help people. Someone who wants to join an organization that embraces differences and provides that compassionate care to our members,” said Greenmeier.

Greenmeier said there are many opportunities to move up within Landmark, including through employee growth and training programs.

Cody Chambasian has worked as a teller at the Brookfield location for the past year and a half. He said he has been impressed with how much he has gotten to know customers and coworkers through the job.

“When you work with members of Landmark, you really get to find out a lot about them. Little personal stories. What is going on in the community,” said Chambasian.
