“I really do want to see ‘MJ,’ because I heard not only is the music spectacular, but the choreography is spectacular...” said Kevin Giglinto, Marcus Center’s president and CEO.

“‘Book of Mormon’ has won so many Tonys and it’s a sell-out show wherever it goes...” Giglinto said. “The thing about ‘Book of Mormon’ is that they’ve gone and updated it. They’ve updated the book and the storyline to make it a lot more contemporary. So those who have seen it before, it’s going to be a little bit different, but the same humor.”

Current Broadway season subscribers will be automatically renewed for the 2024-2025 Broadway season. Subscribers will be emailed with details about the renewal process.

“It’s wonderful to be the home of Broadway in Milwuakee and it is kind of a remarkable season. There are a lot of big winners on it,” said Giglinto. “They’re beloved titles. There’s a lot of fun in this season too, which is something I know our audiences are really gonna enjoy ... We couldn’t have a better-arranged season.”

Those interested in purchasing a subscription may do so, here. Individual show tickets will be made available to the public at a later date. “TINA: The Tina Turner Musical” and “Moulin Rouge! The Musical” round out the current theater season.

Marcus Center also released two other series line ups. “MPAC Presents Dance” includes performances from the Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Martha Graham Dance Company and Ladies of Hip Hop.

"I think the Ladies of Hip Hop and Complexions are going to be great extensions of some of the great successes we had this year with Dance Theatre of Harlem and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago," said Giglinto. "We're growing the dance audience — and the contemporary dance audience in particular — and the diversity of our audiences attending those performances speaks to those companies in particular."

Shows in the “MPAC Presents Jazz” series include performances by Esperanza Spalding, Lakecia Benjamin and Jazz at the Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsallis.

"It's really important for us that we reflect the diversity of our culture and have the many artistic voices that do represent American art," Giglinto said. "I think we've done that really really well in the jazz and the dance series."
