TWO RIVERS, Wis. — The Two Rivers community continues to search for missing three-year-old Elijah Vue.

Many within the surrounding area and throughout the state have stopped what they are doing to help the search. Meanwhile, businesses in town have helped the cause hoping to bring him home.

Wednesday marks nine days since Elijah has been missing. The community has been concerned about his whereabouts for the past week and is working tirelessly to find him.

“Everyone is sticking together strong,” Two Rivers Clothing Company General Manager, Sheryl Vanginkel, said. “It’s really amazing”

Vanginkel is the general manager at Two Rivers Clothing Company. It’s a family business, and she said Elijah’s disappearance is all they have been able to talk about for the past week.

“Unreal,” she said. “Like a Netflix thing that you see on tv, that you would never think would happen around here.”

Elijah’s disappearance has been weighing heavily on the minds of many in town. The Two Rivers Clothing Company has started to make stickers to hand out in the community. They also plan to make shirts soon with his face on them and will be donating the proceeds to his family.”

“Who doesn’t want to help,” Vanginkel said. “If we can do something to give back to the family and those putting in the efforts, we want to help.”

The push to help has also been felt at Fatzo’s Sub & Pizza Shop in town. They’ve been donating food to officers and everyone searching for Elijah for over a week.

“It’s a lot,” Fatzo’s owner, Megan Gordon said. “They are working day and night and probably missing their own families. The least we can do is give them food, so we are doing that.”

Fatzo’s owner, Megan Gordon, said it’s been heartwarming to see the community come together during such a tragic time.

“It’s incredible that we are all focused on that and making sure that we are looking to bring him home,” she said.

The community is focusing on Elijah and bringing him home safe and sound.
