The Jorgensen family and the Sorenson family have been making it a point to show up hours ahead of the lots opening to secure their spot in the front row for tailgating.

Naturally, over the years, the fans turned into friends.

“We all love the Brewers, so we have that in common,” fan Cindy Jorgensen said. “It’s obviously great to have something that we all love in common.”

The group said they didn’t start out as friends, but after a handful of years of tailgating next to each other, it was pretty hard not to become close.

“As people became regulars, we just got to introduce ourselves and become friends,” fan Elizabeth Sorenson said.

Tuesday night was a big night for Sorenson. Game 1 of the series against the Arizona Diamondbacks marked her 100th game of the season.

“My goal was 103, but I got 99 regular seasons and now I have the playoffs, so today is my 100th official game,” Sorenson said.

She said she was extremely thankful the Brewers made it to the postseason, so she could cheer them on and hit this milestone at the same time.

The group even got to add more new friends to their list. They said they hope to keep meeting more people as the Brewers look to play into October.

“Every game we meet new people,” Jorgensen said. “Because we are on the walkway, more and more people walk by and stop and introduce themselves, and we just have a lot of fun.”

The group said they have fun spending time with each other and cheering on the Brew Crew the best way they know how.
