The Milwaukee-based Marcus Theatres is rolling out the red carpet with a new way to experience this year’s nominees on the big screen.

Marcus on Wednesday announced the Marcus Best Picture passport, a new way to see all 10 films nominated for Best Picture, as well as nominees for Best Live Action Short and Animated Short, from Feb. 24 through March 12. The new electronic passport gives the moviegoer the most flexible and convenient way to experience this year’s film series playing at 30 area Marcus Theatres and Movie Taverns.

Guests with the passport can make one $40 purchase and receive an electronic ticket to each of the 10 movies nominated for Best Picture and the films for Best Animated Short and Live Action Short. The passport uses new technology to accommodate viewing preferences and schedules, with the moviegoer choosing the specific theatre, date and showtime.

Best Picture passport holders can save up to $30 with the purchase of the passport versus buying individual film admissions and will also receive 20% off on concessions and food throughout the series.
