Hospitalizations for COVID-19 resumed falling Friday morning, and one more person has died from the disease, according to the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention. 

Hospitalizations dropped again Friday morning to 116. Of those, 18 were in intensive care and four were on ventilators. MaineCDC reported one new deaths Friday, bringing the total number of deaths since the pandemic started in Maine to 2,410.

MaineCDC reported 247 new cases of the disease Friday morning, bringing the total since the pandemic began to 268,633. Of those, 193,644 were listed as confirmed and 74,989 described as probable.
