GREEN BAY — Carissa Baeb and her dad, Christopher Baeb, took advantage of the final regular season Green Bay Packers games of the year at Buffalo Wild Wings.

What You Need To Know

  • The Green Bay Packers lost to the Detroit Lions on Sunday
  • The final game of the regular season didn’t matter for the Packers, who already clinched the NFC’s top seed
  • All Packers playoff games will be played at Lambeau, leading up to the Super Bowl

“I don’t get a chance to spend time with my daughter too much,” Baeb said as the third quarter started.

The Packers clinched the first round bye and home field advantage before the final week of the NFL regular season, so the game against the Lions had no implications, positive or negative.

That didn’t matter for the Baebs.

“I want to see what Jordan Love does, I want to see what the offense, and defense especially, does,” Baeb said. "I think they’ve got to be on their toes, even if it’s the last game and it doesn’t mean anything.”

Despite the speculation about Aaron Rodgers leading up to training camp, he’s now again leading the conversation to be the NFL’s most valuable player.

Baeb things Rodgers will take the accolades, and the Packers, a step further.

“I think they’r going all the way, I do. It’s one of the Cinderella stories,” Baeb said. "They made it to the NFC Championship last year, these lost. Now it’s their turn. Rodgers may or may not be here next year, so I definitely think this is their year.”

They’re not the only ones who thought that at Buffalo Wild Wings in Green Bay, or across Packers Nation.

“I think we’re going to go all the way, I really do,” said Chris Ziemer.

But before the Road to the Super Bowl for the Packers begins in two weeks, this game on Sunday was a less stressful game, giving Packers fans a chance to breathe, and enjoy some wings on a blustery cold Sunday.
