MILWAUKEE (SPECTRUM NEWS) — Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee (BGCGM) re-opened 25 additional clubs across the area on Monday and officials said health and safety remain the top priorities for members and staff.
After being closed for more than three months in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, BGCGM’s reopenings brought the total number of sites providing in-person programming to 32.
Public relations and communications manager Meg McKenzie saidall sites are operating at reduced capacity and under strict health and safety protocols as outlined by the CDC, Wisconsin Department of Health Services, and Milwaukee Health Department.
