Readings are in the 40s this morning and some locales up north have seen 30s! Wow. It will warm up as we head into the afternoon. Sunshine and highs in the 70s for many today. The wind will not be as strong, but still breezy at times. There is the chance for a few spotty showers to move in overnight tonight into Wednesday.

1. Wisconsin's Child Tax Credit payments to begin in July

Wisconsin families will begin receiving Child Tax Credit payments beginning July 15 as part of President Joe Biden’s coronavirus relief package. For some parents the stress of the pandemic has added up over time. Now, families are looking forward to some help.

2. Everyday Hero: Wisconsin Girl Scouts give back in a big way

Girl Scouts in Glendale have been busy gardening at Parkway Elementary School. The Brownies have spent the last few months restoring an old garden at the elementary school.

3. Now Hiring: Mercury Marine seeking people for 150 positions

In the past year the business has added about 500 positions. It’s currently seeking about 150 more people in jobs ranging from assembly to positions in the machining operation and foundry. Wages start around $20 an hour.
