High heat and humidity make things very uncomfortable again today.
Today won't be quite as extremely hot as it's been the past couple of days, but highs still rise to 90 or above across the state.
Heat Advisories continue for most of Ohio until this evening.
Heat index values this afternoon will likely peak well into the 90s to around 100 in the Heat Advisory area. They won't be quite as sweltering in northeastern Ohio.
Dew points will continue to be quite high. These muggy conditions make it very hard for people and pets to cool down.
Practice heat safety like never leaving kids or pets in the car, try to do outdoor activities either early in the morning or later in the evening and drink plenty of water.
Temperatures trend down tomorrow and especially this weekend. However, another bout of heat will probably return toward the middle of next week.
