EDWARDSVILLED, IL.—A Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) radio legend is being inducted into the National Black Radio Hall of Fame (NBRHOF). Boyce will be inducted into NBRHOF officially on Sept. 21 at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel.

Robin Boyce, the Associate Director of Underwriting for WSIE 88.7 “the Sound,” is receiving the Radio Pioneer award from NBRHOF. WSIE says Boyce is a pioneer and seasoned radio broadcast journalist. She also has experience as a media sales professional and on-air personality. Boyce worked with various radio scenes including Radio One, Clear Channel Radio, Bonneville International, KETC Channel Nine, STL TV and the City of St. Louis, before WSIE.

“WSIE, under the leadership of Jason Church, will continue to transcend time, providing timeless music that ties itself with what is going on locally and in today’s world,” said Boyce in her profile page on WSIE’s website. “This station provides music for several generations!”
