ST. LOUIS — From creating a custom T-shirt to touring the Mississippi River, there are several events taking place in the St. Louis area, this weekend March 22-23.
Bellefontaine Cemetery’s 9th annual Fox Trot 5K and Kit Crawl 10K is Saturday starting at 7:45 a.m.
Race proceeds benefit the Friends of Bellefontaine and support the cemetery’s community programs such as Angels Rest, historic preservation and educational tours.
Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K races. To register, visit the cemetery’s website.
Polished Prints will host a pop-up “Craft Bar” event at City Foundry Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Families can create custom T-shirts with staff help in this hands-on experience. There is space for up to six people every 30 minutes.

The Butterfly House is offering excerpt showings of a new film, Beauty on the Wing, Tuesdays through Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The movie tells the life of the endangered monarch butterflies during their annual migration. It is 17 minutes long and open to all ages.

Museum of Illusions St. Louis has 90s/2000s nostalgia and mind-bending illusions now on display.
Nine rooms feature iconic items such as CD chandeliers, Michael Jack’s hat, a Tamagotchi and more. Visitors also take interactive pop culture quizzes with brain-teasing questions.
The Ames Room includes speech bubbles with catchphrases from popular movies, a walk-in kaleidoscope and a color room that features authentic 90s style graffiti stickers.

The Gateway Arch is offering one-hour riverboat tours daily.
Passengers can learn about the importance of the Mississippi River’s role in the history of St. Louis and how the river works today, narrated by their captain.
National Park Service ranger-led cruises are taking place Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30 p.m. Passengers can learn about river travel, historic St. Louis, invasive species and more.
Returning this weekend is the popular Skyline Dinner Cruise.
