The Girl Scouts of Hawaii will distribute more than 300,000 boxes of cookies to island troops at Aloha Stadium on Thursday while preparing to fill the first orders of the annual Girl Scout Cookie Program, according to a release.
Anyone expecting preorders of Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Trefoils, Lemon-Ups and more will start receiving them Friday, the same day cookie booths open at various locations across the state. Cookies will be available online and in-person through March 31. Find a cookie booth near you by clicking here.
People purchasing cookies help Girl Scouts learn skills such as goal setting, decision-making, money management, people interaction and business ethics — all important aspects in leadership, success and life.
Proceeds from cookie sales will support community service initiatives of local troops.
