UNION COUNTY, Ohio — The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed a tornado touched down in Union County near Marysville on Sunday afternoon.
The EF0 tornado had peak winds of 70 mph and traveled 0.35 miles.
NWS said the tornado began just west of Marysville on a property near Payne Road. The tornado toppled a small silo, several trees and damaged an older barn and a few roof shingles. A large metal barn to the north had its roof uplifted and a partial collapse of its walls.
Trees adjacent to the barn were also snapped.
No injuries were reported from the tornado.
This is the state's 74th tornado this year, according to NWS.
