CLEVELAND — The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority is offering free rides for 24 hours starting at 3 a.m. this Election Day.

What You Need To Know

  • Starting at 3 a.m. on Election Day, you can catch a free ride on the Cleveland RTA

  • This includes bus, rail and paratransit

  • Find polling locations on the county Board of Elections website and plan routes using the Transit app

In a post on their website, GCRTA said they are partnering with The Cleveland Foundation and Cleveland VOTES for a Get Out the Vote initiative.

“Thanks to the generosity of The Cleveland Foundation, all riders can enjoy FREE GCRTA service (bus, rail, paratransit) from 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, to 3:00 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 6,” the post reads. “This ensures that everyone has the opportunity to vote conveniently.”

For those living in Cuyahoga County unsure of their polling location, check the Board of Elections website here.

Rides can be planned on the Transit app to reach the polls.
