CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police have made another arrest in connection with recent street takeovers in the city.

Police arrested Jordan Cortez McDonald, 25, for crimes related to a street takeover on Sept. 29 at the intersection of Lee Road and Miles Avenue, according to a press release.

He is charged with the following:

  • Tampering With Evidence
  • Failure to Comply With Order or Signal of Police Officer
  • Disrupting Public Services
  • Aggravated Riot
  • Possession Of Criminal Tools

Police say the investigation is still ongoing and that they are still acquiring more information via their Street Takeover Task Force Tip Line and are conducting follow-ups.

Several arrests have been made in connection with these street takeovers after the city council recently held a hearing with the police department's chief, Dorothy Todd, on the handling of the situations.
