CLEVELAND — The Guardians’ first game in the American League Divisional Series is against the Detroit Tigers on Oct. 5, and the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) has announced a deal for all home playoff games.

In a press release, the GCRTA encourages those wishing to attend these games to consider using public transit to avoid the parking costs and traffic.

“For $5, you can take GCRTA all-day and enjoy the excitement of playoff baseball in downtown Cleveland,” the release reads. “Let us do the driving for you. The Guardians playoff games are expected to draw thousands of people downtown, so please plan ahead, leave early, and allow yourself plenty of time to arrive safely.”
