CLEVELAND — After winning the American League Central and finishing as the league's No. 2 seed, the Guardians will take on the No. 6 Detroit Tigers in the ALDS.
The Tigers swept the No. 3 Houston Astros 2-0 in the best-of-three AL Wild Card Round.
The first game of the series is Saturday, Oct. 5, with first pitch scheduled for 1:08 p.m. at Progressive Field. Tanner Bibee will start Game 1 for the Guardians. The series is best-of-five; the Guardians won the season series 7-6.
