Giant Eagle offering water, ice during power outage

Residents without power can get free water, ice at select Giant Eagle locations

CLEVELAND — FirstEnergy announced select Giant Eagle locations are giving free water and ice to residents without power.

As of Friday, more than 190,000 people are without power after Tuesday's storms.

FirstEnergy said residents do not need to show their bill or any other documentation. People can get one bag of ice and two gallons of water.
