LOGAN COUNTY, Ohio — The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-0 tornado hit Logan County on Independence Day Thursday, making it the state's 64th tornado this year.
The tornado touched down southeast of De Graff around 8:44 p.m. and stayed on the ground for about 10 seconds. It traveled around .17 miles, had a maximum wind speed of 65 mph and a path width of 50 yards.
No injuries were reported. There was minor tree damage and reports of patio furniture thrown around.
Ohio officially broke the record of most tornadoes in a year on Monday, when an EF-0 tornado hit Hardin County. The old record was 62 tornadoes in a year, set in 1992.
